For the two persons whom I know for a long time... ...Saleha & Prassana .. I've known them since 1st standard.. we three of us share the same birth date!!


so lemme give a brief intro abt them ...

Prassana ...

we were classmates in 1st standard, studied in the same school and we never talked to each other. So how do I remember him???? Well, i wouldn't say that his mother is a teacher at the same school (that's how everyone remember's him) .. and so that's how i know him.. nah!! I remember him so well because we used to fight a lot (for no reason).

He used to look so innocent n when i tell my friends that he was at fault ... none would believe... he used to pour water in my lunch box , pinch all over my face and hands till it starts to bleed a little ... and the next day my mom would come and complain to his mom... that went on for an year or so.

Ahem.. a small confession .. even i used to do the same to him too... 'coz i used to get angry when he used to pour water in my lunch box ;) ... hehe

Yeah!! that was us ... after that we never .. never talked to each other... but we got in contact thru our high school group online.

The world is small .. yeah!

she's a sweetheart!! my best friend.. and i guess i wouldn't find any other friend like her! We were born on the same day and even more surprisingly at the same time ... not sure if it was the same hospital or not .lol!!

We used to play all the silly girlie stuff at school and as we grew older .. we started playing ' husband and wife' ... loll!!! yea i know its funny and weird to play and that too at school?? Whenever I think of it .. i laugh till my tummy aches.

She's is person with whom i can share my deepest secrets.

Every year , we used to have a competition ... who will first call and wish the birthday gal ... hehe... sometimes she used to win n sometimes me... we both used to say ' happy birthday ' 'oh thank you and same to you too! ' lol!!! that was fun... she left the school when we were 14 yrs ... and since then ... i used to be so left out... missed her a lot!! .. it's been almost 10 - 11 years since we met personally. The only time I saw her was during my marriage day! and that too when she was leaving.. damn!! i don't even have a snap of two of us.

I always used to say ... we should meet before we have kids .. loll!!! but that never happened so far... and now she is blessed with a baby girl.

but no matter where we are , till date ... we call or email to wish each other on our birthday.. I hope that we continue this bond of friendship forever!

Just like any other day .. i was trying to finish my assignments and as well cleaning my home which has been in such a big mess ( well the reason i'm cleaning is 'coz one of our friend is coming over for this weekend from Idaho ) .. so I gotta keep it clean .. still there's so much work left to do ..

anyways, I was busy with my own work and someone knocks on my door... it was the post man.. handed me the package.. first i thought Uday might have sent something surprise... but it was a surprise from my parents!!! They sent me my childhood videos and greeting cards along with a funny note from my sister... tears rolled down while reading them ...


To Mom & Dad

.... All I want to say is .... that i love you both very much !!! I am so lucky to be your daughter ..

Mommy ... If I am strong and confident today, its all because of you... I've learnt so much from you... You've are such a wonderful Mom...

Daddy ... You've been my teacher, philosopher , guided me when i most needed , everything.
I still remember what you told me when i was leaving to US... and I am on the path to fulfill your dream.

.... miss you soo much gal... those silly fights and all the silly stuff we used to do..

Never knew that I was an inspiration to you.... thnx gal!!! I have no words to express... and yes ... you are very precious and a special person.
Actually I am very Lucky to have YOU as my sister!!!


Junlgeeeeeee ... this is my new nick name ... my sister named it after watching my childhood video .. lol.. the reason she named it 'coz i had a very thick hair .. and it was always messy.. get the picture???
